AmazonBasics Low-Back Computer Task/Desk Chair with Swivel Casters - Black

AmazonBasics Low-Back Computer Task/Desk Chair with Swivel Casters - Black

So far this chair is excellent. Nice and thick cushion on the bottom and good back support. It only has height adjustment and is very basic, but it feels well made and it is comfortable.

I switched from an executive chair that had the splitting fake leather (only 5 years old, not the best quality). I prefer a chair without arms so I can scoot up to the desk, and the mesh back is much more breathable. I use this AmazonBasics chair for programming and development. It's not the kind of chair you want if you like to lean back and consume media on your computer, but for computer tasks it is great. I use a similar chair 8 hours a day at work, but it isn't as good as this one. I may replace it with this chair as well.

This chair is perfect for use at my sewing machine...I don't need a lot of padding or expensive features. I use it in my sewing room, which has industrial-type carpeting, and the chair rolls around fine but never gets away from me. It has a seat back that encourages good posture. You couldn't buy a chair from a store this good, and though I hated buying such an item without actually being able to sit in it, this one is pretty (red!) and very comfortable.

My parents decided to purchase an office chair for my husband and I. We are both in college and were desperate for a functional and inexpensive office chair. I did some searching and came upon this one. The reviews sold me! We have had this chair for a month. It took 10 minutes to put together, with the help of two kids under 5, and it is very comfortable. The wheels move with smooth fluidity, the chair cushion is very comfortable, and the back of the chair provides ample support. The seat height adjusts easily as well. I am pregnant with our third child and back support is what we were definitely lacking with our other chair. This one does the job! Don't hesitate to get it. The green is beautiful, and it is a high quality chair with an excellent price range. I got a floor protector to go under it because it sits on wood floors.

It took me (a 70-year old woman) less than five minutes to put this together. It is comfortable and lightweight -- every bit as nice as the Aeron chair I used have in my old office at work. And certainly a lot less. $39.99 for this chair is a steal.

This is a surprisingly comfortable desk chair. It comes in one box that contains five wheels, a hub, pneumatic lift, seat and back. Everything you need to put this together is in the box, including the 4 screws and allen wrench. The plate the goes on the base of the chair is imprinted with the word "FRONT" on it and it will face the lable that says "FRONT" which is glued to the bottom of the seat. Screw in the plate, put it on top of the hydrolic lift and You're done.

It is lightweight but solid. Rolls wonderfully easy and is really comfortable. I have one office with just a straight back folding chair and this is like having a limo by comparison.

This chair is a very functional chair with a very doable price.

Description

An Amazon Brand.

Great little chair, and I do mean little. It is best for a smaller person. I am 5' 11" 180 pound and it is fine with me but my daughter who is 5' 6" 100 lbs fits a lot better on it. Also, it has enough padding, contrary to what others say. I guess it matters how much "natural" padding you begin with in your backside.

My husband has had the black version of this for over a year now and he loves his, so when I needed a desk chair, this is the first one I went looking for. I love it, the red is super bright and stands out, the cushion is super comfortable, and it will raise to the height you want it to raise and stay there even for heavier people (I weight 230 pounds). It doesn't take the weight and then sink like a lot of office chairs do. My only two complaints are the material being the mesh style on the butt cushion can get kind of irritating when you're wearing shorts or a PJ gown (so I covered mine with a pillow case), and the butt cushion is a little bit small if you like to sit cross legged in your chair and are a larger person. But for what you pay for it, those are incredibly minor complaints and not really worth mentioning.

This is a great desk chair for my son. It's very good quality. I would purchase again. And very simple to put together in just a couple steps!

We puchased 2 of these AmazonBasics Low-Back Computer chairs for our two sons ages 9 and almost 11. I am 5"3 and this chair is a perfect size for me too. My husband is 6"4 and this chair is far too small for him.

I was able to put both chairs together in about 20 minutes. I was a little worried these would not last because they were very inexpensive but I was wrong. We purchased one red and one blue and we were surprised to see that the color matched the pictures, to a T!

There are 5 wheels on this chair opposed to the standard 3 or 4 giving it greater stabilty. This is great for a child because of the chair will not tip like some computer chairs do.
The contour of the back and the comfortable cushioned seat makes this a chair that you could sit in for extended periods of time without getting uncomfortable or needing to adjust. The chair goes up and down and for a child under 50 pounds it may be a little difficult to get the seat to move down but With a Little Help from someone the chair can be adjusted.

Overall we're very happy with the quality and easy setup of these two chairs.

This is a good buy for the money, but for a few dollars more there is an AmazonBasics task chair I like better; it has a padded back, and the back can tilt back if you like, with variable spring tension. On this chair, the back of the chair cannot tilt back, and the "lumbar" support is too high to support the lumbar part of the spine. But the chair is so inexpensive that I cannot reasonably complain about it. The chair is very light, but it seems fairly strong. I bought different casters for it so that the hard casters that came with it would not damage my wood floor.
