I've been thrilled with it. I live in a condo complex and my new neighbor below me sits in the unit chain smoking and running the a/c to force the smoke into my unit. These are in my a/c cabinet and do a fantastic job of removing the disgusting stench of my neighbor to keep my unit air clean and clear.

We love our Blue Air Filter. I have it in my basement, and it really works to keep the air fresh. This was my first time replacing the filter. The filter is expensive, but holy smokes it's so easy to change out. Just lift the top part of the filter off, take the filter out, unfold the new filter, and fit it in. Put the top back on, and you're done. It takes ten seconds.

FYI, if you want to reset the red "change filter" light, just turn the filter on low, then press and hold the ON button for five seconds. The light will flash and then turn blue again. Couldn't be easier.

We have been running the Blue Pure filter in two homes in a row now, for beyond six months. The filter light finally came on, so bought this to swap it out. The old one held a ton of dust, we had cleaned the pre-filter a couple times, but I am still impressed with just how much this captured. The new one was pretty easy to slip back on and get it running again. Had to consult the manual on how to reset the device after the swap, but minutes later it was back to work. A little pricey but worth it to keep the sleeping area cleaner from airborne dust.

We've had the Blue Pure 211+ Air Purifier in our home for about a year now, in a windowless room, and its been a workhorse. I have no regrets in investing in that. I've had to change the filter twice now (every six months as directed) and I can tell you that this filter is serious. Not some little square sheet that you slide in, this thing is legit. And when I discard the old ones, you can see how much gunk this sucker is filtering out of our air. Replacing the filter involves pretty much taking the whole thing apart, but it's very easy and not time consuming at all. And worth it to know that our basement rec room has clean, safe air for our family.

I believe it was Consumer Reports Magazine that listed this company's air filter machine and filters as Top of The Line for getting everything bad for you out of the air you breath. We use this filter in our bedroom's machine, works great ! And it's nice and quiet. We have the bigger machine and filter for our living room area. Tip: if you see or find a good price on these filters, buy a couple to save money as their prices do shoot up sometimes, and its usually when your machine starts to show Yellow to Red Warning that the filter needs to be replaced. It comes package flat so easy to store away.

Description

The Blue Pure 121 Particle and Activated Carbon Replacement Filter protects against both gaseous and particulate contaminates. An activated carbon mesh layer eliminates harmful gaseous pollutants such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), tobacco smoke, and other odors. In addition, advanced polypropylene filter media removes particle pollutants down to 0.1 micron in size from your indoor air, such as pollen, dust, and pet dander. Using a 360-degree air intake and up to 4 times the filter surface area than competing replacement filters, the Blue Pure 121 Particle and Activated Carbon Filter lasts longer, on average from 6 months to a year. The click-and-change filter is easily removed and replaced, and can be put into recycling at the end of its service life.

My light never came on to change filter, but since I’d had it a year, thought it was time. For some reason, I thought it was going to be difficult, but it could not have been easier! Just a quick swap from old to new. Unfold new & pop it on. I’ve been very pleased with this unit & recommend it highly. I purchased it due to the high rating by Consumers Reports.

This replacement is amazing, shipped flat and so easy to install and remove the old one. Whoever designed this filter system deserves a Nobel Prize for Air Pollution. Its incredible, price is great and last 6 months. Too good!

Easy to replace. I just assumed that it did really need to be replaced. It's sometimes hard to tell the difference these things make. It has seemed to reduce the cat dander in our large home, and the outer filter certainly has a lot of dust after a month or two.
The On button on the filter turns amber when it's time to replace. To reset the button, simply hold it down for about 10 seconds.

Filers dust and particles well. Only wish it had more charcoal for odor removal.

Easy change filter, going to do a subscription next time so I don’t have to remember and search what kind I have to buy each time.
