This was supremely easy to use. The frame was shipped in a well packaged protected box and when you take it out, there is a cardboard border around the outside of the frame. Pop that off and it has the command strip like things inside that you can peel apart and stick to the Velcro nestled inside the frame. Line up how you want the picture to sit inside the frame and then press the picture in place. Took me all of 30 seconds to do. There are also two plastic protectors stapled to the corners but with a gentle pull they came right out and didn't damage the frame. Make sure you line up the photo properly because I think that once its stuck together, it would be hard to budge it. There are also instructions on the cardboard its self. Highly recommend this frame to anyone who wants a nice boarder for their canvas!
I couldn't be more please with this frame. My son made a decoupage canvas for me and this frame fit perfectly. The frame is well constructed and solid, and the canvas holds very well in the frame with the easy to apply Velcro strips.
Have two paintings 11x14 on framed canvases and 3/4 inch thick and they fit and look amazing! Easy enough to unpackage and add velcro strips to their backs. Center the canvas can be kinda tricky to get perfect so be patient and enjoy. These are an amazing value!!! Have more paintings that need them but they only have one other size 16x20:(
Perfect frame for my 16x20 canvas. I wouldn’t recommend for framing super fine art, but it was perfect for my intermediate paintings. Will definitely order more of these. They’re also perfect if you want to give your art away in a nice package.
Good frame. Does exactly what it is supposed to do, hold a wrap-around canvas frame. The object of it being a front loading frame is so you can see the sides of the canvas. Received a lot of compliments on the frame. It came assembled in one piece and you cannot even tell where the splice is. I can see where some reviews stated the velcro came of the canvas which is understandable, but a couple of staples in each piece of velcro held them nicely. The velcro is a very nice feature as we will be changing the canvas out for different paintings for different seasons and it is easily done with the velcro. All in all a well built frame but I thought it was a little high in price for $25.

The MCS 40003 is a 11 by 14, 3/4-Inch black frame that allows you to mount canvases quickly and easily. You simply attach your canvas to the frame using the supplied Velcro mounting system.
I finished my first canvas and was a bit worried on how to frame it inexpensively. I'm so glad I found this frame! It was super easy with the Velcro attachments. My canvas was slightly smaller than the opening and I was able to remove the Velcro and move it closer so it wouldn't be seen. My only complaint was that "landscape", there are two wall hooks which are really not necessary for such a lightweight piece. I just used a piece of wire between the two to hang. I hope these come in different colors!
It came packaged nicely. The instructions for putting your canvas in are very straight forward and easy. The only thing that was a slight struggle was getting the canvas to be centered directly in the middle of the frame. It uses a velcro system to hold it in, and the velcro is extremely tough! Once it's in it looks great, and will not budge unless you use a lot of force.
What an amazing frame...just what I was looking for for a canvas my mother painted for me. Attaching the canvas to the frame couldn't have been easier either! Plan on buying more for sure!
Beautiful frame and the installation would be easy, however, ours did not come with the velcro fasteners. Once we purchased the velcro separately, the installation of the painting was easy. If they forget to include the velcro with yours, you can also use the double-sided wall hanging material to secure the frame too. Otherwise we would have rated them 5 stars.
These frames add that finished touch to a canvas effortlessly. When the actual artist saw his work framed, he was especially impressed and is considering selling his work framed in these. The frames can be reused thanks to the Velcro fasteners. They are lightweight and hang well with command strips.
