Creatine is a fantastic supplement, even if you are not a body builder. Btw, Creatine has a half-life of 6-8 weeks in the body.
Some users might have digestive issues if it is not dissolved. Any easy way to resolve this is to put about 4 oz of hot water in your cup or blender bottle and then add the creatine. Stir for a couple minutes and it should be completely or sufficiently dissolved. Add some cold water (I add Spring Water with a couple ice cubes). I then add my Whey Protein Powder and shake my blender bottle.
Adding the hot water may be a slight inconvience but is worth it. Think of it as "pre-digestion".
I think by now everyone knows about all the wonderful effects of creatine. It is one of the most studied and effective ergogenic supplement out there. This uses the highly rated creapure creatine. Knocking off a star for not having a scooper and having a terrible bottle design. As you consume more of the product you have to pour all of the product to the top of the container in order to get a scoop of it because the cap is too narrow.
Definitely works. More so with endurance. I would encourage you to do the loading stage for like the first week and work out with it. I noticed a difference within a week and I only do push ups everyday. Muscles are harder and I'm able to do more effortlessly from when I first started. Must buy can't go wrong unless your body just doesn't take to it.
It's the classic.
The best supplement, hands down.
Decades of peer-reviewed study on this stuff.
No other supplement comes close to being as safe or effective.
Creatine is natural, Creatine is good.
Not everybody uses it, but everybody should.
While it's true that this doesn't mix well (i.e., it doesn't completely dissolve), I haven't found it to be a big deal since it's flavorless. I dump 5g (1 tsp) into a cup, fill it half-way with some water, swirl it around, and swig it. I did a loading phase, but it's not necessary. 5g/day every day will suffice.
Performance-wise I have noticed slightly more energy at the end of my sets, but of course, as others say, it's hard to attribute solely to the creatine.
Good luck!

Description
Optimum nutrition creatine powder is unflavored
Gets the job done. I had stopped lifting for months, probably more than 6 months. Wasn't taking care of myself at all. Got back into lifting, started taking this about a week before lifting. First week I was curling 60 on the preacher curl and struggling quite a bit. This week after working out other muscles all last week, this week I found myself curling 85 pounds. Granted it's easier to gain back muscle than it is to get it in the first place and I have been an on and off gym goer for years now. But that's huge progress, and I find my arms beefing up well, though they naturally tend to get big pretty quick.
Can't say enough great things about Creatine in general. When used properly, it'll help take your gym game to the next level. Coupled with a good diet and gym routine, you will definitely see gains within a month. Make sure you follow the instructions when first taking this supplement and be sure to maintain your daily routine.
Yeah, you'll feel bloated and tight the first time but that's the water retention you are feeling. Pumps lasts longer and you'll have more energy during heavy lifting days! It won't work miracles though! It's only a supplement, but used properly with a good routine... Gains! The price is great for the amount you get. I don't believe in all the other marketing stuff from other brands. This is simple, clean creatine. Don't need anytbing else in it. Plus it's unflavored so it will mix in perfectly with your protein shake.
Creatine is an excellent supplement for pre or post workouts, whether you are trying to pump yourself up for the gym or allowing your muscles to recover. Packaging seems normal, which is tightly sealed before you open it.
PROS-
There is no scent at all so you can add it to any drink!
This brand of creatine doesn't make you seem bloated, in comparison with the ones my friends use.
CONS-
Low Solubility - Although soluble, it doesn't do so in a short time. Fully dissolved in 30min give or take. If you are the type of person who cares about grainy texture, try another brand!
So far so good, I have had no problems with Optimum Nutrition's Creatine!
Effective, but many of the grains are quite large, so even after blending there are sandy-like pieces at the bottom of the drink that need to be choked down. I only wish this was like some other brands that have a super-fine texture more like powdered sugar.
I can't give it any less than 5 stars. I have only taken it once so far but I know the 5 grams helped because I don't eat or like fish. So I don't get a lot of creatine daily even though I do from other food sources. I drink water daily but never more than 3 or for bottles and one bottle can last me for hours because I sip and sip. When I work out I am usually so sore that I don't have the motivation to continue the next day and usually end up stopping. I took this with 100% whey and BCAA's and had the energy if a God! I went through 2 bottles if water within 20 minutes and didn't feel the slightest ounce of pain. I also injured myself at work recently and now that pain has lightened as well. Now that I've just awakened I don't even feel as if I worked out at all. The pain I would formally feel after an unhealthy workout session is non-existent now that I've taken protein, creatine and BCAA's. It can't be a placebo feeling because working out used to feel like torture. Now.i look forward to working out today and even want to do biceps and triceps again for a second day lol. I only plan to supplement creatine on my workout days which will be four times per week. I will not take it on my off days. I want my body to adapt and understand that it needs to retain water for those 3 off days without the use of creatine 7 days a week. Then I will continue Monday with creatine and end Thursday. I don't care about fast results when I know I'm working towards my goal. I care more for healthier results. 20 grams of creatine which is approximately 80 grams per month is all I will take. My body will adapt to that small serving and utilize what it needs to keep looking lean and strong.
