I am in complete awe. I bought the combo with the cleaner because I didn't think it was humanly possible that a cloth would clean my glasses alone. They are constantly smudged even after cleaning like 4 times. I did wet them down with water to remove some dust..but I just wiped them once and they're crystal clear. I don't normally leave reviews, but if you were glasses these are a Godsend. I still can't believe it.
The anti-glare coating on my glasses makes them a grease and grime magnet. After using the cleaner and cloth, my glasses haven't been this clean since I purchased them. I've learned the hard way to only use microfiber cloth made for optical glass - the cheap microfiber cloths for general cleaning have made scratches and caused the coating on my glasses to wear off around the edges of the lenses.
This little set is an “all-in-one” glasses maintenance kit—like a first aid kit for your glasses. The spray bottles are travel-friendly and I love the eyeglass screwdriver (on a keychain!)that comes with the set. The one thing I noticed right away was that the cloths I received did NOT match the picture shown on Amazon. I had ordered the set largely because of the blue color of the microfiber cleaning cloths (I figured the color would make the cloth easier to find when it inevitably got to the bottom of my purse).
So why the five star rating? The customer service is great. The set came with a little card reminding customers of this small business’s commitment to customer service and it shows: within less than 24 hours of writing the company (I sent a message Sunday evening and had a reply in my inbox Monday morning), I got a reply. The answer made a lot of a sense (the owners switched to a different manufacturer to increase quality and a different color to make it easier to see when it was time to clean the cloths), and assured me that the picture would be changed on Amazon to reflect this update. And as an added bonus, the owner kindly offered to send me a couple cloths in the blue I was expecting to get at no charge.
Now THAT is customer service! Definitely a 5 out of 5 star experience.

As advertised, it cleaned my new glasses quite well without streaks or smudges. I give it 5 stars because I don't believe there are very many solutions out there that can clean like this. As for the smell some reviewers have griped about, it's not bad at all. Some people have overly sensitive nostrils, or are just paranoid or skeptical about everything. When you give your glasses to a clerk to be cleaned at an eye place, they return them to you, you put them on, and typically smell a kind of mild Windex-y smell. Koala is no different. I don't know what makes it smell like that (they all do), but I don't care, and here's why: 1) it cleans marvelously, and 2) if this stuff was ruining people's AR coatings, we'd have heard about it by now in the reviews. All it does for me is make things crystal clear with a a good cleaning. And my PC monitor too. Don't expect some miracle product. It still takes some effort to wipe both sides of each lens thoroughly to remove all smudges. (I smoke, which residualizes on my glasses & makes me have to rub a little harder & longer. If you don't smoke & don't work in a dirty environment, it will be easier for you.)
Believe the reviews! I have tried so many wipes, sprays, and cleaning cloths in the eternal struggle for clean lenses... including a number of other high rated items. Nothing, and I mean nothing, has ever truly worked to my satisfaction. Until now! BUY THIS KIT. One spray of the cleaner on each side of each lens and a simple swipe with the cloth and ZERO SMUDGES. Literally none. Even a good bath in the ultrasonic cleanse doesn’t work this well for me. My order came in today and I’m already back to buy more. I want at least one of these magical cloths within reach everywhere I am and an eternal supply of the cleaner. I honestly don’t know if the wizardry is the cloth, the cleaner, or the combination of the two. I just know that IT WORKS! Thank you, Koala Lifestyle!!!

I am very fussy about the cleaning fluid I allow to come in contact with my glasses and camera lenses. So after doing a lot of research and reading quite a few reviews on this product, I finally purchased it and gave it a try and can now report:
This product works as it claims. It removes fingerprints, dust, dirt, and spatter. And has even proven itself to be safe for cleaning my camera filters. It does not streak or leave any residue. I would definitely recommend this product and vendor.
I never touch my lenses, so how is it my glasses are smudged with fingerprints 4 or 5 times a day? I have bought numerous cloths which work(ish) and usually resort to cleaning my glasses on my top, or with a tissue which doesn’t remove the smear of oiliness and doesn’t get into the edges. This cleaner is like magic. I got 2 large bottles of cleaner and 2 cloths. The first time I cleaned my glasses I was in awe, seriously, they gleamed. I didn’t actually pay attention to the size of the bottles and assumed it would be 2 small bottles like you see in opticians, but they are 16oz and will last for ages. It doesn’t prevent mysterious fingerprints and smudges but when you clean your glasses they get a really good clean and stay clean for longer.
I love this stuff! I'd been nursing a very old and tiny bottle of some kind of cleaner for my anti-reflective, transitions, polycarbonate, etc eyeglasses for a long time when I finally decided to research and then buy this product. I'm glad I did. At first I had no idea what I would do with TWO bottles, but I ended up putting 1 in the bathroom and the 2nd in the living room (where I spend most of my time). This way, if I'm too sleepy or out of it when I wake up to clean them, I have a handy bottle by my side for when I do remember! I'm really glad it is free of ammonia and alcohol and that it came with 2 machine-washable cloths. My only wish is that it came in a smaller size. I'm already in my 60s and disabled, so who knows how long I'll be around to use this great stuff. Maybe I will leave them in my Will. LOL
Ignore the negative reviews on this product!
The people leaving negative reviews are either incapable of interpreting and following instructions or they simply just complain about everything.
This is hands down the best glasses cleaner I have ever used in my entire life bar none... IF you follow the directions to properly clean your glasses.
When it comes to facial oils, finger smudges and water spots, this stuff cleans your lenses crystal clear with no residue or streaking, and I don't know what people are saying when they say it has a chemical smell. They either have very sensitive sniffers, intentionally sniffing the contents of the bottle or are using way too much of the product to clean their glasses.
I have not experienced any issues with a lingering or offensive chemical smell while using this product and it makes my $500 prescription lenses like brand new every time I use it.
If your glasses have a bunch of gunk on them, including dust and gritty debris particles, then you should rinse them under running water first and maybe use a mild dish soap to remove the heavier gunk and gritty debris by lightly sweeping the lenses with your fingers under the running water.
Don't spray the Koala Kleaner on the lenses and just start rubbing it with the supplied micro-fiber cloth.
Fine sand, dust and other particles can be abrasive and only a fool would believe they can just rub them around on their lenses without consequence, even with the Koala Kleaner sprayed on the lenses.
If you're too lazy to spend the extra few minutes properly rinsing heavier gunk and debris from your lenses or to hand wash the micro-fiber cloths or see nothing wrong with using a paper towel or your shirt for wiping, then you deserve the scratches and flecking of your coatings and lenses.
It's not rocket science, it's common sense, so don't blame the product for your own ignorance.

I have to admit, when I read the reviews that said this cleaner was amazing and there was nothing else like it, I was a little skeptical. But, I must say, this really is amazing!! I can't believe it. It cleans my eye glasses so perfectly well, there are no streaks or smudges and it wipes away so nicely without build up. It is like magic. In fact, I exclaimed after I first used it, "holy cow this stuff is magic!" So there you have it. A skeptic turned believer. And it's alcohol and ammonia free, a very friendly product all around. I highly recommend this cleaner!
