My husband was an eye doctor. I was the guinea pig for prescriptions and samples. My eyes itched, felt like small spider webs in lids, and had corner or eye particles in the morning. Nothing worked and everything stung. Bausch & Lomb Soothe has alleviated that for me. The 1st application, I was able to put 2 drops in center of eye without blinking (I had usually put in corner which is incorrect). Thank you.
I just used these for the first time, and so far I'm very happy with them. Normally by late evening, my eyes feel terrible. Almost like they are full of grit, and my vision is terrible. After using these drops, my eyes feel so much better. There is no gritty feeling, and my vision is very clear. No strain in my eyes, like usual! I had tried some lubricating drops from Systane previously, and they would blur my vision terribly. Usually took about 5-10 minutes before my vision was clear enough to read anything. I was pleasantly surprised with these...no bluriness at all, just a slight haze, or milky effect for a bit. Nothing that impeded my normal activities at all. Right now, there is absolutely no dryness in my eyes at all...even with a fan pointed directly at me. So far, I'm impressed!
Like other drops, they do Soothe your dry eyes, usually with only a couple drops. while there is a moment of unclear vision after dropping these in, it passes quickly and I found the lubricant in these helped them last so much longer than the normal eye drops! I definitely recommend these eye drops over the normal types and the price is fair. I will continue to buy them simply because of the length of time these last compared to others.
The natural type tear drops do me no good at all, while these really helped relieve the soreness I experience every day from staring at a computer screen way too long.
I had a corneal transplant several years ago and my doctor wanted me to use prescription eye drops due to dry eye syndrome, I could not afford them. I tried many kinds of different drops but the Bausch and Lomb Sooth XP is the only one that helped me. I have been able to cut down my usage of other drops many times a day to only 2 times with these. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.
I love these eye drops. I’d been using “Refresh” eye drops but they weren’t helping. My eyes would water constantly and I was tired of always wiping away tears and telling everyone I wasn’t crying! My eye doctor recommended these drops and within a couple of days I noticed a huge improvement. No more “crying”! The first use was strange as I wasn’t expecting the immediate, but short-lived, cloudy vision. Then I read the package closer and saw that they contained mineral oil and it made sense. Love this product. So much better for me than fake tears, which just seem to dry my eyes out more after use. I discovered Soothe after I had lasik surgery about a decade ago and have used it ever since. Good stuff. Just gotta make sure you wipe out the corner of your eyes a few minutes after you use it to get rid of any white goobers sitting there.
I get random dry burning eyes due to health issues and as a side effect of some of my medication. My eye doctor gave me a sample of this at his office and it works wonders. A couple of drops in each eyes and they are instantly soothed and kept lubricated for some time. It's in a small easy to carry and open bottle. I do wish it was a little cheaper, but I haven't found a cheaper drop that is as effective.
Best non-prescription drops I have found for chronic dry eye. Very soothing and long-lasting. Do remember that (per product warning) lubricant can cause blurred vision for a minute or two. So don't use while driving, etc.
Very helpful for me. I need more than liquid. It is thick enough to sooth my eyes and ease the pain. My granddaughter used them once (a new bottle) and said everything was blurry for 20 minutes. Unless you have severe dry eyes like myself, I would not recommend. They are exactly what I need!
I have terrible dry eye after Lasik, and was struggling to see. The Refresh Plus vials the doctor recommended helped only for a few moments and are terribly expensive. The doctor would also recommend an ointment that didn't really help, was messy and made my eyes blurry. Soothe XP are the first drops to actually make a real difference. I don't need them more than at bedtime, and in the morning when I wake up. I can see, my eyes don't ache and I'm a lot happier. The only reason I'm giving the drops 4 stars is because after a week or so, it started to hurt my eyes a little bit for a while. I'm still using them as it goes away after a bit, I just hope I'm not building an allergy to the drops. I really need them.
