I never thought I would write a review on something like a shower curtain rod, however, here I am.
The main reason I recommend this- it doesn't have the 'lip' in the center. You don't make it longer or shorter by extending it from the middle, so I can slide my shower curtain open and closed without the hooks getting caught and coming off the rod.
It has also stayed in place without any slipping or having to readjust.
I'm very happy with this purchase.
The tension on the rod was better than expected. I have put in many shower rods over the years being in the kitchen and bath remodeling business. This is by far the best I have seen. The curtain rod was installed on a marble tile surround and it gripped instantly. Feels like you can do chin ups, which I don't plan on doing...
It's been only a couple of weeks but this shower curtain rod looks and feels of an excellent quality. It's very sturdy and hold a lot of wait like wet towels and such. Only time will tell about being rust free. I believe is well worth the extra money.
I bought this after reading several of the good reviews. Now I'm adding my voice to the chorus. This tension rod is sturdy and holds tightly in place. It took off a circle of paint on the spot where we installed it when I needed to take it down temporarily, but I put it back in the same place, and the spot w as completely hidden. That's a testament to how strongly it grips the wall! The chrome look matches nicely with the rest of the fixtures in that bathroom. This rod is beautiful... and a great value!

I purchased this tension rod shower curtain 3 months ago. Following installation instructions, I have had absolutely no issues with slipping, sliding, or movement of any kind. It has *definitely not* fallen down! It is exactly as ads pictured and described: heavy gauge metal, beautiful and shiny.
I absolutely recommend this to anybody who is looking to add classic style to their bathroom with a visibly high-quality product, at a very reasonable price. I hope to get several years of use from this rod, but know that it will eventually have to be replaced; with luck, I'll be able to replace it with the exact same thing!
I read the reviews. I did the research. I thought this could not be as good as they claim. Boy was I wrong. This is so strong. It is able to hold 8 kgs of weight. My washing machine holds 7kgs. This is perfect for line drying the clothes to save on energy in the summer. I have already put to the test. It is also so very easy to install and take down. I have mine installed in the middle of my bath shower combo so no water drips on the floor. The best part is when clothes are dry I can store it in my closet out of the way in the bathroom. Then my shower is ready for use. I think this would make an awesome house warming gift for new homeowners. It looks so lovely and shiny. It goes great with my fixtures.
I like the fact that is durable and sturdy. It looks much nicer than those plastic white ones. This Rod has CLASS and an overall luxurious appearance. But what I like the most is it DURABILITY.
Great product! The finish is beautiful and the rod stays right where you put it. There's nothing worse that being in the shower covered with soap and having a shower curtain rod give way. You don't have to worry about that with this rod because once you put it up your done. I would highly recommend this product to others it's well worth the money.
I have very modern taste, and I could find nothing I like at the stores. For the same price as the poor offerings in stores, I got a very high quality, modern curtain rod from BRIOFOX.
