Debrox Earwax Removal Aid Drops | Safely and Gently Cleanses Ear | 0.5 FL OZ

I regularly have issues with my ears, where if I use a q-tip they get plugged, or if I get water in my ear it feels like it takes FOREVER to get out. I recently went and got an annual physical at the doctor for the first time (I know I'm such an irresponsible adult) and while doing her little ear flashlight thing, my doctor was like "uh do you have any ear issues" and I said "um well sometimes I feel like they get a little plugged I guess?" And she goes "yeah not surprising since I can't see your eardrums around all thay wax buildup. We can flush them out here or you can do it at home." And me being me, I said I would do it at home and promptly did not. Well, then, two days ago, I woke up and my ear was a little plugged. I decided to try to go at it with a q-tip and long story short, I was completely deaf in my left ear for approximately 8 hours. So. Much. Plugged.

So a little amazon/google research later, I ended up here looking at this product. I was a little nervous because I've never had good luck with liquid things going in my ears and not making things worse, but I thought hey, it can't get any worse really. Package arrived two days later and now we are HERE.

Folks. Buy it. This is like head lice treatment. If you are looking at it and thinking about it, YOU NEED IT. And this stuff. Is. Awesome. You know those ear nuggets I mentioned? Literally chunks of ear wax came out of my ear holes the SIZE OF CORN KERNELS. Where was this coming from? Why is my body making so much wax? Where was it being stored because I did NOT think ear canals were that spacious, but apparently there are some storage closets in there or something because HOLY MARY MOTHER OF GOD the ear nuggets are real.

I also bought two red "ear wax aspirators", they're red, like 6 bucks on amazon or something, they worked great. But if you have the bulb nasal aspirators for babies, those are basically the same thing and will also work. I let the drops sit (I dunno how many I used, I was desperate, probably 15?) for about 10-15 minutes and plugged my ears with cotton balls to keep the juice in like the directions say. There was a delightful fizzing nouse/sensation but no instant relief. I pretty gently rinsed out my first ear with nice warm water and nothing really came out, maybe just some flakes. So I went to my left ear and after the first rinse yielded a plugged ear and no nuggets, I cranked the water up to hot and really shot that water up in there and the chunks started flying. Ended up re-rinsing the first ear the same way with excellent results. My ears feel so squeaky clean!

And get this, my hair makes sounds. Like I put it up in a hair tie afterwards, and I could HEAR MY HAIR MOVING ON MY HEAD. What is that?! Seriously?!

If you also did not know that moving hair creates a sound, you need to buy this product ASAP.

After using this, I was able to hear my kids yelling mom again. Product worked well, unfortunately.

As a pharmacist I use and recommend this. I put it in my ear in the shower, wait 2 or 3 minutes then syringe it out for 2 or 3 days in a row. On day 3 I saw a big chunk of wax come out. Don't clean out your ears daily only occasionally.

My husband has problems with ear wax building up. A couple of years ago, when he had this problem, his Dr. gave him Rx ear drops to use for (I think) 4 days, before coming back to have his ears irrigated to remove the softened ear wax. THIS time, I bought Debrox and one of those ear wax removal kits that contains an irrigator ball (similar to a nasal aspirator but for the opposite purpose). He didn’t use the drops that came with the kit; used the Debrox. Actually, you can probably buy the irrigator separately, on Amazon.

He used the recommended amount of drops twice a day, putting a clump of cotton in his ears after application so the drops didn’t all leak out, for the recommended time frame. Then, he, himself, used the ear irrigator a couple of times while leaning over the bathroom sink, and he saw and felt the wax flush out from his ear. Wonderful. Saved a trip to the Dr. Will use Debrox from now on.

My right ear was totally plugged. Went to the pharmacy and the pharmacist said that this is the one that Doctors usually tell patients to go get. Went home, put in 5-6 drops, laid down and waited about 10 minutes and then flushed my ear out...no results. Did it again with 10 drops and left it in for 30 min. Flushed my ear out with very warm water and a little more force this time and OH MY GOSH....the gunk that came flowing out onto the towel blew my mind! It's amazing that I was ever able to hear at all with all that crap in my ear. This stuff works, but I think you need to leave it in for longer than the box says.

Description

Excessive earwax build-up can lead to ear discomfort and reduced hearing and can affect your day-to-day life. Over-the-counter earwax removal drops are a safe and inexpensive in-home solution. Debrox's gentle, non-irritating microfoam cleansing action goes to work to soften and remove earwax as it cleans the ear. When drops are placed in the ear, oxygen is released. This release allows Debrox to foam on contact as it gently softens and loosens earwax. Once broken down, earwax is able to drain from the ear. Trust Debrox to help keep your ears – and hearing – clear. Use Debrox Earwax Removal Aid Drops twice a day for up to four days if needed or as directed by your doctor.

I can't believe it. Started putting Debrox drops in my ears Tuesday and rinsing with ear syringe. 2x a day. This is what just came out after 5th application! I leave it in my ear for 18 minutes then rinse. I can hear normally again! 8-10 drops. This was a recommendation I read online, the amount and time left in the ear. I'm a musician and I wear earplugs when I play sometimes and always on the 14 round trip plane rides I take per year. The earplugs push wax into your ears.

I was skeptical at first but this stuff really works! My ear was clogged and I couldn’t hear anything and wanted to save myself a trip to the doctors office. I put 10 drops in twice a day and left it in for 20 minutes each time and on the 5th application the flood gates open and I can hear again! It’s amazing all the stuff I wasn’t hearing before!! I highly recommend this product.

Many years ago, I had a pretty severe wax impaction issue. Went to the doctor and got my ear flushed. They recommended this to continue to deal with excess wax. So satisfying to see the wax flush out after using this. These days, my eczema and dry skin had re-surfaced in my ears. So, now I use it to deal with the dry flaky skin in my ears. Put some drops in, let it fizz and bubble, and flush them out. The flakes come out easily - much better than the maddening itchy ears.

Awesome product. I would highly recommend to attempt using this product prior to going to Provider for ear wax remover and spending mega dollars. Very important to allow at least 30 minutes of instillation.

Great! Feels like a party going on in my ear with all the bubbles. Cleans out all the wax! Don't feel too dizzy afterwards either.
