Takeya Actives Insulated Stainless Water Bottle with Insulated Spout Lid, 18oz, Arctic

I've been a loyal fan of Hydroflask for years, but went looking for a new bottle and gave this a try. I'm very impressed! Keeps beverages as cold, but the lid with the spout is much better! I also like how the lid locks in place so it doesn't hit you in the face. The bumper is a nice touch as I didn't realize how annoying that little "clink" sound was with metal bottles. I like that you get a lot more features without having to add on additional cost like a Hydroflask. I'm super impressed with this bottle and will recommend to anyone!

Obsessed! This bottle is awesome! Replaced my other one I got from my supplement store because it was plastic and didn't stay cold but holded 40oz. Got this one in arctic white and I love! My boyfriend has been jocking it so hard since I got it he asked me to get him the black! Ha! The arctic white gets a little dirty sure but so far has wiped clean fine. My Bca's I put in it (which is watermelon so its pink) does stain the lid/mouthpiece a little. But that luckily has wiped clean easy too. Definitely glad I went with this bottle, wish I could get all colors!

***Update***
So unfortunately I am not victim of what others, A LOT of others, are experiencing. The center peice of the lid, that twists into the mouth apout so when the bottle is closed it doesn’t spill out of thw spout, well yea it beoke off. And its seriously SUCKS. The bottle spills everywhere now, since that crucial piece broke off.
And even more of a bummer, there’s NO MATCHING replacement lid. The only one they sell is the black lid with the white rubber band. Well I got it so I don’t have to worry about this thing spilling everywhere. And honestly, its not cute.😑Its looks lame. Totally not the same effect as the all white. Which I bought and paid a heafty penny for specifically ALL WHITE. Seriously they need to sell all the lids, in every color, made available to purchase(or replacement for peeps like us)when it breaks. Because it will. And I’m bummed.

This is the 4th takeya water bottle that I’ve purchased and I love them all. I have the 40oz for myself, and my kids each have the 14oz which are great for elementary school lunches. I recently bought the 18oz for my daughter as she’s starting to outgrow the 14oz and likes to have water with her at all times. These bottles are great. We live at the beach and in 96 degree weather these still have ice at the end of the day. Best water bottles for hiking in warmer climates. These are totally worth the investment!!

This is one of the best water bottles I have ever owned. I'm the kind of person who carries a water bottle daily, year-round and I greatly prefer metal ones to plastic due to how clumsy I am. Previous metal water bottles that I have owned have become bent and wobbly on the bottom due to me dropping them all the time, but the bumper on the bottom that the active version protects it very well. I've dropped it a few times and have had no deformation.
The lid of this bottle is very well designed. It doesn't leak when inverted, the cap locking mechanism is very convenient, and I like that the carrying loop isn't fixed in place and is large enough that I don't have to carry it with only one finger (which was a big factor as to why I kept dropping previous bottles). The silicone band is also pretty great, nice and grippy so you can close it tightly but still open it easily, even with damp fingers.
The color is great, very vibrant with a nice matte finish so it's not slippy. So far, the color has not chipped off after a month of heavy daily use. Any marks it has gotten have come off with, at most, soapy water. The insulation is also great; so long as I refill the bottle with cold water, the ice will pass the 24-hour test. Plus, the mouth is wide enough to fit pretty much any sized ice cubes and the flow from the spout allows you to sip a little water or chug a lot of water quickly without soaking your shirt.
I only have 2 complaints about this water bottle, and they are pretty minor things. One is that the bottle is a little heavy and large compared to other bottles I've owned. I did get the 32oz size so I knew it would be larger than my previous 24oz ones, but the insulation does make it even wider. Fortunately it still fits comfortably in my hands but if your hands are on the small side, I recommend getting a smaller size. If you're looking for a lightweight bottle (for backpacking or whatever), this might not be the best choice, but it's perfect for throwing in my backpack or on my bike to take to work.
The only other complaint I have is that I wish the spout had some kind of cross piece to keep the ice in the bottle. It's a little annoying to take a big swig of cold water and swallow a half-melted chunk of ice, but it's something I can live with. If they came out with a Version 2.0 for the lid that included this feature, I would definitely purchase it.

This thing is awesome. I have poured ice cold water in it and left it for a day and it was still cold. I love that it doesn’t leak. Most of the ones I have bought have leakage problems. Not this one. It is heavy. But I don’t mind that. The cap on the bottom comes off. I like that because I can leave it on my desk, where I need it to not slide around. I haven’t had any issues with it sweating either. I have also put iced tea in here and haven’t had any problems with the bottle keeping the smell of the tea. Really easy to wash. I have a bottle brush I use and it works great. Oh, this does not fit in my cup holder in my car. But it’s 32oz. I expected it wouldn’t and I’m okay with that. I bought it in lime just because it was the cheapest color (it’s so bright, I love it) and I was trying it out, but I’m going to order another for home use as well. It’s been well worth it to me.

Most AMAZING 😱❤️ water bottle I have ever used. Some of his amazing features are these: I left my water bottle with ice in my car, the temperature in the car must have reached 120 degrees easily. When I came back from work after 12 hours the ice was still in there it had not melted at all, and the water was still cool and refreshing. When I drink from the mouth piece, the design is made that the water doesn't hit your mouth, it feels like the bottle is lapping water into your mouth. Highly recommend this to everybody, I have already purchased numerous of these water bottles to give it to family and friends. I dropped this water bottle, and at one time then I dropped it and left a huge dent, but it has not changed anything from the function of the water bottle.

First, let me say I had very high hopes for this bottle, and it meets or exceeds most of them. There are a few things I feel the company could do different to really make this bottle excel.

1- I love the twist top that allows for wide mouth to small sipping spout capability. HOWEVER, when I drink out of the smaller spout there is no air valve so I constantly get bubbles and small splashes. MAYBE design the spout with a half circle cut into the top and bottom to allow for air to pass through...

2- I love the look of the Original with the black on the cap BUT I purchased the Actives due to the silicone pad at the bottom and full insulation. Well... the silicone pad is pretty much always coming off when I transfer the bottle to my cars cup holder or the side pocket of my backpack. Sure I *could* put it in my bag or use a carabeener but who wants a bottle that is bouncing around or hidden inside a backpack...??? Well MAYBE the company can glue a few silicone dots to the bottom or use a pad that is smaller in diameter than the bottle so you get the non-scratch bottom surface but no drag on the bottle when transferring.

These are my ideas, I would have given 5 star but like I said, with a few design tweaks, this bottle could really excel from what it already is, a great bottle at a great price, to #1 bottle.

This is an amazing water container. For a few years I've been using an UnderArmor 24oz water bottle for hiking, traveling and at home. It is awesome but it sweats and the ice melts pretty quickly if I don't have it in the Camelbak insulated sleeve. The Takeya water container does not sweat and keeps the water ice cold all day, all night and into the next morning. There is no plastic smell, no leakage, and the silicone base is a good protector from the ground and keeps the container stable. The silicone base works well in my vehicle with the larger cup holder. I have one cup holder that is wide. As long as I use the silicone base, it will fit and does not wobble. This is a very sturdy product!

I don’t usually write reviews cause I’m usually busy either petting my dog or look for my dog cause she feels smothered and “needs space” (her words, not mine. This bottle gives me a feeling of peace, like the world must not be so bad because of it’s beautiful design, ease of use, and the fact that it keeps drinks hot or cold without me even thinking about it. I love the size of the spout, it’s as if scientists came together and concluded that that was the best size for liquid flow and lip comfort. A really appreciated added bonus is the rubber bottom, so you don’t seem like an angry salesman demanding things go your way every time you put your bottle down on the counter. If you find yourself reading this while being trapped in some amazon after death limbo state where you cannot decide which water bottle is best, just buy this one already. You won’t regret it.

I LOVE these water bottles. Ice stays forever, beverages stay cold, they are easy to drink out of & DO NOT LEAK. I love, love, love them. My only complaint - and this is a complaint of all steel water bottles - is that the paint chips in the dishwasher. I know you're supposed to hand wash, but its such a pain in the butt & I really feel like the dishwasher sanitizes them so much better. Even chipped, best water bottle, hands down. LOVE the silicone bottom - its easily removable so that it fits well in backpacks, cup holders, etc that are more narrow. But, for work, home, etc., the silicone bottom keeps it sturdy & from making a slamming noise when you set it down. Very well thought out design & construction. I bought one for my husband & 2 kids too... all agree, its our absolute favorite. We've tried a ton of brands & this is definitely the best. The silicone valve system on the lid is also very easy to remove to clean & that CAN go in the dishwasher, which I like.
