I seriously love these sippy cups!

I see reviews for how moldy they get. Mine do too but I purchased dr. Browns bottle brushes. They are very slim so they fit in the spouts and the straw. Plus I learned if I wash their cups daily and use the little brush on the straws and spouts they never mold... ever!

The spouts split... ok. So does every other rubber spout my kids have had. It's because they use their teeth. They seriously still work great! I have been using them for two years now. I always want to get more but I guess 14 (5 have gone missing through daycare and travel) is way more than enough!

Seriously. Just wash them with the tiny brush and all works great. All photos I have included are of bottles I have had for 1-2 years. Same with the spouts. They are all just as old and still super clean!

This is another brand that I do not mind spending a little more on due to the quality.

There are so many reviews claiming that these bottles are a "health hazzard" Seriously, just clean your children's cups (regardless of the brand) with warm soapy water, give the crevices a little scrub every so often and you'll be just fine.

I love that they have so many options in colors and patterns to choose from. My daughter gets so excited with each new cup she gets. (which is quite a few, since you can NEVER have enough sippie cups, right?

Our two year old daughter drinks way more water through a straw than from an open cup so this bottle keeps her well hydrated. It has a larger capacity than most kids cups too which is nice and it has survived all manner of drops and impacts. This is our second bottle and my only complaint remains that the bite valve is the weakest/most likely to fail but my toddler will implode if we replace it with another color. I wish these came with a second bite valve in the same cool color because the replacement packs are all blue. As for issues with cleaning, we only put water in these and use them every day so wash up is easy if you have a bottle cleaning kit with the little brushes for straw and nipple/valve and a drying rack for the tiny parts.

Camelbak are the only bottles we buy for ourselves and I love that they make them for kids. We started with our now 5 years old son, who loved how easy it was to drink from as a tiny toddler and the fact that they are durable and don't spill was a def plus for us. He's probably gone through 7 already, as the pictures wear out and the snap wears out, but that's to be expected with this much wear and tear. Now we've ordered one for our 1-year-old daughter. We are def customers for life, especially due to Camelbak's lifetime warranty, which I have used twice for our adult bottles. Never an issue, super easy replacement. Just order replacement valves as they get pretty gross, even with regular washing and bottle brush cleaners to get into the little nipple and straw. We use the bottle brush for our baby bottles, works great. Highly recommend for all ages.

I love this bottle! The first one I purchased was a complete lemon. It would leak leak LEAK! the valve and straw were defective. I contacted amazon and they sent me a replacement. This one is AWESOME! We have had it almost a year now. My daughter loves drinking from it. We just bought a replacement valve because my daughter loves to stick her tiny fingers into the valve opening and after months of doing that, it tore open. But that has to do with her, not the actually bottle. I would highly recommend this for kids. Very durable bottle.

CamelBak Eddy Kids Water Bottle, Airplane Bandits.4 L

Okay, so this cup is nice enough. It comes in a lot of designs, which is great. My son drinks from another brand that looks similar, and I saw this one on a daily deal, so I figured I would give it a try. He won't drink from it because the 'bite valve' is odd. I tried to drink from it myself, and it takes a weird amount of effort to get the liquid up. It doesn't leak, and it seems to be easy to clean, so some people might love it. I just think transitioning a child to this after they're accustomed to using a straw might be a little difficult.

Got this for my daughter's first birthday. Came exactly as pictured. We have another Camelbak for my son that has lasted several years and will probably last several more. We've had to replace the silicone mouthpiece/straw on his a few times, but haven't had any leaking problems with this Camelbak when the silicone mouthpiece was in good condition. This *is* a WATER bottle, and not intended for milk and juice. If you use it for anything other than water you probably will have mold issues, but used as intended we haven't had that problem. So if you want something for milk and juice you need to look elsewhere. Don't buy this product and then complain it didn't work well for something it was never intended to do.

I have nine of these cups because they are literally the only kind of cup my child will drink out of, after graduating from the Munchkin 360. My kid is on the spectrum, so he pretty much wants to use the same kind of thing all the time. He enjoys chewing on things, so I make sure that I check the valves regularly and have replacement ones ready. I knew this would be an issue, so I don't really consider it to be a con. I run the straws, as well as the rest of the cup, through the dishwasher. Occasionally I have to use a little brush on the straws, but they pretty much stay clean. My experience with the valve being pushed in is that if you properly pull it through, that doesn't happen. It's easy to accidentally leave it a little loose, and I think that might be what's happening for the folks that say that their children push it through. I can't push it through with my own fingers when it's properly locked in place; I have to pull it out from the other side when it's open.

Easy to clean and very few leaks. It is not completely leak proof. If you put cold fluids inside and they warm up, the increased pressure will sometimes push a little water out (or whatever beverage you put in there.) Also, if your child takes a sip, there is always beverage left in the mouthpiece. If you fold it down and don't mess with it too much you're fine. If you fiddle with the mouthpiece, it'll squeeze whatever is inside.
It is also pretty bulky but most kids water bottles are excluding sport-type bottles.
Other than that, you're good to go.
We tried several different models of contigo brand bottles and they're all abysmal in design. Yes they are more resistant to leaks but impossible to clean and inevitably will get moldy.

The CamelBak Eddy Kids one has only a few parts that are all easy to clean and maintain. The handle is sturdy and you can replace the mouth piece when needed. Yes, you are going to need those little straw brushes but in this day and age I feel most parents have those specialized brushes already in their arsenal from bottle and sippy cup days.

After using so many different brands of water bottles, this seems to be the winner for our household. My kid was a biter so a few of the other brands she chewed teeth marks into the plastic spouts deeming unsafe to use. This one is silicone and soft so it's not as easy to damage with those sharp little teeth. It's a little more work to take everything apart and wash. Just saw there's a special brush you can purchase to clean the inside. The exterior of the bottle itself will eventually scratch with drops and toddler abuse but it's still quite sturdy and good quality. My almost 1 year old just started sipping from this too and found it easier than actual sippy cups because she didn't have to lift the bottle up.
