 This review is for a 4-pack of battery operated fairy string lights. The price, $16.95 at the time of this review, works out to about $4.25 per string which I feel is a good deal for their quality. The lighted length of each string is 16.4 feet, plus the battery pack. The lights themselves are small little bumps on a copper wire, which I prefer to mini-bulbs because of their warm twinkly appearance and durability. The “warm white” is a nice yellow/white color. The great thing about copper wire lights is they never burn out, and the strand can be shaped or wrapped around anything you like such as wreaths, holiday displays, decorations, home décor, and they hold their shape. I have many copper string lights, some I’ve had for years, and none of them have ever broken or stopped lighting up. You’ll need 3 AA batteries per strand of lights and they are not included. The obvious pro about battery operated lights is you can place them anywhere, in areas you typically couldn’t have lights due to not being near a power plug or not wanting to run a power cord there. However, I usually do NOT purchase battery operated lights anymore because it’s such a pain to switch them on and off and I constantly forget about them, leaving them on and draining the batteries dead in one day. That is not a problem with these lights because each strand has a timer! There is only one option for the timer which is 6 hours on and 18 hours off, but I find it works out just perfectly for me. I currently have these lights on my front door wreath, in a decorative display in my tall built-in bookshelf, and on my fireplace mantle. I set them to come on at 530pm when I get off work and it starts getting dark, and then they automatically turn off at 1130pm around the time I go to bed. I get to enjoy these every night without fearing that I will forget to turn them off and wake up to dead batteries the next day. The timer works without fail and it remembers which setting you had the lights on. Speaking of settings, each strand has 8 different settings. One of the settings is just regular “always on”, and the rest are different patterns of blinking, flashing, fading in and out, and twinkling. Please see my video to see all of the 8 available patterns. You can also dim these lights in 10 different levels, which is fabulous! The batteries last longer that way and they don’t have to be glaring bright if you use them in a dark room. You change the settings and set the timer using a small remote. There is a remote included with each of the 4 strands (and they work with the other strands, too!), and the batteries were included already in the remotes. Another great thing about these lights is they are waterproof. You shouldn’t submerge the battery box in water, but the lights themselves can get wet with no issues. The lighted wreath on my front door has been just fine through rain and sleet. The battery box is hidden behind the wreath but definitely still got splashed in the rain with no damage. The only slight con I can think of is there is some broken English/strange grammar on the instructions, the lights must be made in China. The instructions were still easy to follow though, and it didn’t affect using them. I will say they were packaged very nicely and you can tell from the instructions that this company stands behind their product. I can’t say enough good things about these lights, I may even order another set for Holiday decorations!
Update: I originally placed batteries in all 4 of these light stands at the end of October and set the timer so they automatically turn on for 6 hours every night. It is now December 15th and they have been coming on without fail every night for over a month and a half. I am just now noticing the batteries dying and the lights are getting dim. I think a month and a half is a surprisingly long amount of time for batteries to last when used daily for 6 hours!

 So far they're doing great, though I've only used them once. I used them to make light up tutus for 3 10 year old for a Katy Perry concert and they held up wonderful. The wire is thin, very easily tangled, so be cautious with unraveling them. It was quite easy to turn these into 'icicle lights' due to the wire holding so well. The battery compartment is very easy to open (no screwdriver needed) for quick on the go changes, and it does clip closed so it won't open randomly. I do wish the battery pack was smaller, but it has a loophole that allowed the girls to wear them like a cross body purse underneath their tops. The color is a very cool white, very bright and clean looking (even though the actual lights are super tiny). The remote control was a big bonus as I got to simply point it at the girls to use it (even with the battery packs hidden underneath clothing). We have not tested the timer feature, however I have a spare light strand that we will use somewhere in my daughters room and I'll update how that is after we test it out. I will upload a video of the lights blinking various ways as well as a photo of the finished product.

 Very pleased! Easier to put up than traditional string lights. No need to plug them in so we can put them down around the mailbox and trees! Take up a fraction of the space when putting them away for next season - although the white yarns is so discrete, I may leave them up all year and nobody would know! Only downside is buying a lot of batteries.

I wanted these to put into jars for my sons light up birthday party and they are perfect! The remote is an added bonus so I can change the twinkling settings without opening the jars!
Great little lights so far! If they end up failing for my sons birthday party or Christmas, I will update my review at that time!

 Wow! These string lights are amazing! Set of 4 received with 4 remotes. Putting them in jars in my garden for yard art so the remotes are awesome. Lots of different settings for the lights and even a timer. Love!!!

  These lights are absolutely STUNNING. Well made, and they can get VERY bright. You can adjust the brightness through the remote simply, it comes with battery already installed in the remote. but anyways, came with a battery in the remote and all you have to do is pop some double a batteries in the light itself, and bam!

Very simple install, I decided to wrap it around my tree. Gave it somewhat a Christmas spirit for the holidays! For the price of this product, it's a great value!

These lights also have different modes which is a plus, they flash, blink, whatever you'd like. There's a huge variety!

Keep in mind, you get TWO lights,remotes, etc. You're getting double your value with this elegant light to help brighten any area or room. All those LED's, make it brighten up a room! You can install them nearly anywhere, and it's a very simple install. No hassle whatsoever. Pop in some batteries, wrap it around something, hang it up, and done.

I used these lights to add to a dress. I didn't really use the remote cause the battery pack had a button. I also should add that it didn't include batteries.

Love them...I put AAA batteries in by mistake...Duh, it still worked, just not as bright, and batteries kept falling out. LOL Once I put the correct size batteries in....AWESOME...

 Really wonderful product, arrived on time and well packaged. Everything works well, without any issues! :)

I decided to put one of the strings around a tapestry to highlight it, and it really warms up the room. The lights were super easy to hang up, I just wrapped them around some thumb tacks. You do have some string between the battery box and where the lights start to allow you to stash the box out of sight. The metal wire is unique compared to similar products in that it holds its shape pretty well, so it gives me this cool twisted look.

The remote comes batteries included, and works really well. I love that you can turn on the lights from anywhere in the room! You can also dim the lights with the remote, and change what setting they are on. You can change any of the light strings with the same remote, but the remote only affects the string that it's pointing at the battery box for. So you can individually adjust each light string, without fumbling between remotes. I'm going to keep my second remote stored in case I lose my first!

All in all, really great lights!

I wish my pictures could make justice to the beautiful atmosphere that such lights create! This package of two sets is great! I am using it on one of my walls in the living room and the effect is so gorgeous!

Deliver: The two sets come in a box with the two remote controls. They are nicely wrapped and organized, no tangles! ;-)

Remote control: Button-cell batteries provided for both controls. They are protected by two small plastic covers. Detail: if you want, you can use only one remote control for both light sets - both respond greatly!

Overall: small lights regularly distributed that together give a great impression! They are also very discrete when switched off - I have them in my wall for using at the night and during the daylight they are barely spotted. The battery box is really well done and has strong clips for closure. It is also possible to active the lights using a small button at the battery box, which is super great in case you lose both remote controls ;-) The battery box require 3 batteries AA, which are not included. For the two sets, you will need 6 batteries. Later, I intend to update about the batteries life and consume.
