This is a great choice if you are trying to decide between this ironing board holder or a different one. We had originally purchased one that had a top part that sat over the iron to hold it in place, but our iron was too big for that one. This one was better because it can accomodate the larger iron and other supplies, and nothing falls out when the door is being opened/closed. The ironing board is easy to hang on the shelf as well. I like that I was able to hang it over our door without any screws necessary.

Simple enough to where it works. Cleared up the clutter in my closet. Wish the iron basket was slightly bigger.

My iron board was always in my way when it was not in use. Now I can hang it up on the back of my basement door along with the iron. I have a very old ironing board (over 30 years old) so the legs are different from theses new ones. I was worried that it would not work but guess what? IT DID. I’m able to save space. Great purchase.

Although in theory this was ideal for my needs, in practice it turned out to need some tweaking. The length is not easily adjustable, and I had to do some weird rigging with twist-ties to get it into a position so that the full-size ironing board would clear the floor while hanging, AND the iron would clear the top of the door frame while in the basket. It's more of an annoyance than anything else... overall, I'm happy with it. I haven't been able find anything else on the market that would accommodate my mother's giant, circa-1960s iron and board, and I didn't want to replace them just because I couldn't store them properly.

This is a great item to have! I started getting organized and love this handy, well- made, all in one little rack. It keeps everything handy and all together for ironing - but behind the door so it’s out of sight when not using it. No more dragging the ironing board out of the garage- then trying to find the iron because I was too lazy to get the board and ironed somewhere like on top of the washer or on a towel on a table! A must have! Love it!

This ironing board holder is working out ok so far. I gave it four out of five because it does not hang level/even from the top of the door for some reason. I have tried adjusting it but the right side always hangs just a slight bit lower than the left. I have an ironing board with a criss/cross leg frame so it doesn't hang as nicely on the hooks as an ironing board with a straight leg (as shown in the picture). The small storage shelf on the top is helpful to hold the iron and one or two other small things.

Item arrived swiftly and is as pictured. I like the space to access the iron's handle and extra room to keep a can of starch or mister bottle. Metal used to support the ironing board is weaker than I was hoping. I have the kind of ironing board where the stand is a "Y" shape rather than "T" and the angle of the legs does not sit properly in the hooks; it pushes the supports apart as it slide into place. Probably better suited for a "T" shape which would hang squarely on the hooks. At any rate, it was not expensive and does the trick.

I'm pleased with it! With no instructions, it took a while to figure out how to make it work with my four legged ironing board. But being determined, and recalling the description saying that it works with all types of ironing boards, I continued to toy with it until it popped into place. The middle wire bar hemp the basket is somewhat flexible. I pulled on it until my board popped securely into place. It would be nice if the 'arms' that hold the unit to the door were adjustable. My board nearly scrapes the floor. Otherwise, so far, so good!

It fits on the back of my bedroom door and does the trick but occasionally, my ironing board will pop out of the bracket when shutting the door and then wedge behind the door, so I can't open it. I can't decide if it's the bracket or my iron that's the issue.
Regardless, I'm happy with my purchase and will find a way to resolve the unfortunate drop/door wedge routine.

"PERFECT!!!!!"
No, honestly.... it fits snugly on the door, the ironing board fits, and the iron can fit... either side ways or with the cord hanging through the indented part, (how, it should sit, while hot) there's even room for a water bottle or a can of starch....
Definitely, a good buy for me, because I could loose an elephant in my apartment (LMBO)
"Thanks" for keeping me organized
