Working in a Pharmacy I have the opportunity of using different blood pressure monitors on both myself and others. It’s interesting watching results and studying them for me.
This monitor is surprisingly accurate! Much better way to check then using the machine at the pharmacy that I service. Fairly comparable to the Omiron brand. Only thing that weirded me out because I didn’t read closely at first to know it did that was play music while using the monitor. It’s actually an awesome feature to help people relax. :)
I am impressed. As an RN, I am painfully aware at how important accuracy is, especially with monitoring the blood pressure. This product works fantastic!! It is very sensitive and if anything is even a little off it will read an error. This seems annoying at first, but the error key helps you identify what the issue is right away and this feature prevents the device from ever giving an inaccurate reading. I'd much rather the device was a bit overly cautious than inaccurate.
I love this blood pressure monitor. So easy to use and I love that it speaks results. And it is very easy to set up. Which is great for me because I'm visually impaired. Highly recommend it!

Works great. Cuff fits and is comfortable. The audio readout of the results is a great feature and the music during the test is soothing.
I did not like the music that is played while the machine is measuring your BP. Also I could not find any explanation of the two offerings of what the modes mean, mmHg or Kpa. Also I had to turn off the volume as my other half wears hearing aids and any level was very loud for him. Additionally I completed the survey in order to receive the free AC adapter however the page nor their web as listed in the directions are valid. Very disappointing over that.
I bought this because of the good reviews. I have two Omrons, but the last one that I bought gives high diastolic readings. I compared this to another Omron and the two values were within 2 - 5 mmHg of each other, and the pulse was the same on both.
The unit appears to be well built. The directions for putting on the cuff are straight forward and taking blood pressure is simple. The provided documentation for setting up the date, time, and unit of measure settings are easy to understand. But voice, volume, and alarm settings are unclear and could never be figured out. M1 and M2 settings on the screen are not explained either. The unit offers a lot of features, but they aren't explained or not explained well enough to be used.
Had to buy a new BP monitor after my old pump up monitor decided to retire. Did a lot of research on a lot of different models. I read enough to know that arm cuffs were more accurate than wrist cuffs. Most of them had similar features. And most of them had fairly high ratings. My #1 criteria was accuracy. When I research a product I always look at the most negative ratings first. I found that although many of the BP monitors had overall high ratings, many/most of them had many negative ratings concerning accuracy. This model had the fewest complaints about accuracy.
After a week with this monitor, I can say that I am completely satisfied with its capabilities and performance. It registers in the same range as my doctors' measurements. And the measurements have been within 5 (systolic) points of each other. (My former monitor had as much as a 15-20 point spread). It is fast. It is accurate. And it is very easy to use. According to the instructions, it stores one's last 120 measurements and can keep track of the measurements for two people. A feature that I really like is that one can not only go into memory and get every one of the previous measurements with dates and times of each, but it can also average all of the previous measurements.
The one negative I have about this monitor is the instructions. They are not very clear. And it took a while for me to figure out how to use some of the features. But once I did, I don't believe I could have found a monitor more complete than this one.
