Good, large size. Quite comfortable. We were more than pleased with it! My husband is 6'3" and weighs about 260. I'm not a little person, either. It was much more comfortable than we expected it to be.
If I could give this 6 stars I would. The kids love it and it is very comfortable. We have guests over often and they will enjoy this air mattress as well. We have a sizable tent so this will also be incredible for travel and camping trips. The air mattress packs nicely into the carrying bag. I have NEVER had an air mattress with an auto inflatable mechanism so this was a piece of cake. It blew up fast. King Koil is a great brand and we have used their mattresses in the past. We have a five bedroom house so we will order another and put it on a frame with a skirt. At $109.99 it was cheaper then the other name brands and we are thrilled.
*Updated Review: I initially had to replace this item due to a big leak. I contacted customer service and they sent me a new one. I because of house construction I have had it inflated continuously for about on and off for about six months and my guests are amazed that it's an inflatable. I've had friends of all shapes and sizes on it and they all have liked it. I even had a friend have her baby sleep on it next to her and it was not an issue at all, no sagging or feeling like the mattress was going to shift. Amazing. I would buy it again!
UPDATE: King Koil was great to work with after our first mattress didn't hold air. They were proactive in making sure we were satisfied and got us another bed promptly. It appears that our issues prior were one off and just bad luck. The new bed is great, blows up quick and deflates and packs easily. It was nice to know they stand behind their product and is easy to work with if an issue should arise.
I dont write reviews but i will for this one... The King koil mattress is dope, beautiful design and high quality. Very good for the money would and will purchase again and again. I have a nice hybrid mattress that i spent buko bucks on... I like this one better and i sleep better on it! Seriously. Had some minor chronic back pain and it went away instantly after i spent a few nights on the king koil bed. Also most importantly, the warranty nothing beats the peace of mind and it is easy to use. I noticed when i first recieved my mattress that there was a very very slow leak. Talked to customer service about it and without question they expidited the delivery of another mattress for me very quickly. One of the best customer experiences of my life. Constant communication from Patrick who was relentlessly after my satisfaction and very friendly + helpful. You the man pat thank you. I got my new King Koil air mattress and it rocks. It's got a built in pump which makes it super easy to setup and even comes with a carrying case. How cool is that!!! Very high quality, nice size, affordable...an overall great value!!!
I've had a number of inflatable mattresses over the years and decided to step up to a double height mattress. I borrowed a mattress from a friend one night and really liked the height better for getting out of bed. I did some research and ended up buying the King Koil.
We are renovating a second home that has no furniture in it, so an inflatable mattress is a must.
This past weekend while we were up there, was the first time I used it. I inflated it early in the day as per the instructions to let it stretch out (I guess.) I re-inflated it right before bed and it didn't need much air, It stayed fully inflated all night and was in great shape in the morning. I got a GREAT night sleep.
The second night I added a little bit more air, but again it didn't need much. I had another great night's sleep!
I'm very impressed with this mattress so far. It inflates/deflates in about the time you would think a mattress this size would...2-3 minutes.
It's pretty stable and you can actually sit on the edge of the bed without it collapsing.
They call it a queen size, but it seems a little smaller than that. My sheets and mattress pad fit just slightly loose, but worked well regardless.
The carry bag is a big plus as some of my past mattresses didn't come with one and it can be a little burdensome when transporting if you don't have a bag. The first time I folded the mattress up, it was a little large for the bag and had to redo it, but now that I know how to roll it up properly, it won't be a problem.
I can't really speak to the longevity of the King Coil, but so far I'm impressed.
Overall, it's a GREAT mattress at a GREAT price...I'd recommend it!
I absolutely love this air mattress. It feels more like a good bed instead of something you can store away so easily. Grandsons, 8 and 9 age live a couple of hours away. It is so easy to put in the play room while they are here visiting. When they have to go back home, I can store away in closet. It only takes a couple of minutes to air and deflate. The sheets recommended that I got with it works perfect. No slipping at all. Ten star rating here. Oh the comfort is amazing as I have napped several times myself on it.
I sleep on it last night and was impressed with the support and quality of rest I experienced. It was very easy and fast to inflate/deflate. I purchased a mattress pad with extra cushion and the picture shows how it fitted together with the King Koil Queen size inflatable mattress. Now I have a bed my guests can sleep confortable that is very easy to store and takes almost no place to store.
5 Stars for a 6 Star customer support experience!!! I bought two beds, Inflated them, they seemed fine. Put them away for a couple of months. Then brought them on a camping trip. Very clean KOA campground, tent on grass etc. inflated both mattresses. One like st 3/4 of air overnight. RE-inflated the next night, same thing only mattress almost completely flat in the morning.
The amazon return window had already expired. I contacted amazon about the matter. They referred me to the manufacturer, King Koil.
Stated the matter to king coil in email. They got back to me within the hour. Immediately offered to to replace the bed!!!!! They asked only one question. “What’s your mailing address?”
I have them the address and got a tracking number the very next day. This all was Memorial Day weekend!!
I am blown away. This was the best customer service experience I’ve ever had and I am now a fan of King Koil!!!!!
