Nature's Miracle Deep Cleaning Pet Stain and Odor Carpet Shampoo 64oz (1/2 Gallon)

Nature's Miracle Deep Cleaning Pet Stain and Odor Carpet Shampoo 64oz (1/2 Gallon)

Nature's Miracle Deep Cleaning Pet Stain and Odor Carpet Shampoo 64oz (1/2 Gallon)

Have two dogs and one cat. Only thought one dog had been peeing in my office. Without knowing any better, I gave my office a routine carpet shampoo with my Bissel + regular shampoo. once it dried my office stunk terribly of urine. I did some research and found out I had made my situation worse by using heat and regular shampoo. I took a blacklight and found there was much more pee in there than previously suspected - gross. It appeared all three animals were marking territory in my office and the cleaner had just spread the spots around. I tried the baking soda cleaner next and that just made it smell like pee with a hint of fragrance. My research then led me to this product and I figured it was my last chance before having to rip out the carpet and pad. First I took this product and saturated any of the heavily concentrated areas I located with the blacklight. I filled my bissel shampoo reservoir fully with this and gave everything three wet passes WITH NO HEAT. DO NOT USE HEAT FOR ANY URINE ISSUES. I went over everything with a dry pass once. I wanted to keep the carpet fairly wet to work the enzymes fully into the fibers and pad. After two days I went in my office this morning- no pee smell! This stuff really works! I am going to give everything another pass just for the hell of it this afternoon.

Here's the thing those that still had stains and say it didn't work. First it is an enzyme cleaner so shake the bottle to mix everything together and activate the enzymes.

I used this product with great success as I have always had with Nature's Miracle products when you follow the directions. The thing to remember with Nature's Miracle and really any enzyme cleaner is you MUST shake it up to mix and activate the enzymes. This is how you get the best results for your money.

With that being said I used Nature's Miracle Urine Destroyer let the product sit for 2 hours scrubbed the spots. Applied another round and scrubbed again letting it sit for 2 more hours. I then steam cleaned with warm water and Nature's Miracle Shampoo. The carpet looks like new!

My normally very well behaved cat suddenly decided that he would start peeing in my basement. WTF!$#%&!!!

No worries, he's healthy had him checked by the vet and there is no obvious cause for the TEMPORARY bad behavior. Good God, please let it be temporary!!

Well, I had no idea exactly where the odor was coming from... I went through the basement many, many times trying to pinpoint where the odor was coming from with no luck. My hope was to spot treat but that wasn't possible given that I couldn't determine exactly where the odor was coming from. I turned to amazon for some help. After reading many, many reviews I decided to give this product a try. I love their enzyme spot treaters for the occasional accident in the house and was happy to stick with this company as I've had very good results with their products in the past. I have a hoover carpet cleaner (shampooer). The instructions for the cleaner say 2 ounces of cleaner mixed with the water in the dispenser. The first time I cleaned the carpet I went with the 2 ounces. I thoroughly cleaned the carpet and left it to dry. The smell was absolutely HORRENDOUS (way worse than prior to applying the solution) as the carpet dried. The enzymes were hard at work breaking up all the rank cat urine that permeated every inch of my basement but I was not aware of this process just yet. As the carpet dried the smell persisted, it was absolutely awful!! After approx 24 hours of drying time I ventured back down into my basement. HOLY MARY, MOTHER OF GOD..... the stench! I gagged, nearly threw up in my mouth and promptly reloaded the carpet cleaner with a higher concentration of solution, this time 4 ounces added to the water in the dispenser. I, again, thoroughly "shampooed" the carpets and left the enzymes to do their work. Again, it stunk to high heaven for a good 24 hours as the enzymes worked their magic and the carpet dried. After the second shampooing and 24 hours of drying the smell was slightly, and I do mean slightly, better. Take 3..... I braved the stinky basement yet again and loaded the carpet cleaner with 6 ounces of solution (3x the amount recommended by Hoover). I cleaned the hell out of the carpet, hitting all areas twice praying to the Gods that this would work. 24 hours later... still stinks! 36 hours later... still stinks, who the hell am I going to call to get this stink out of my basement?? It's nauseating!! 48 hours later... I think it might be getting better but I can't be sure maybe i'm just getting used to it :(. Hey friends, will you come over and let me know if my house smells terrible?? LOL. I left my house for the weekend, came home another 48 hours later and smelled nothing as I walked through the front door (yeah, it was THAT bad). Cautiously optimistic I venture down the basement steps.... the smell is GONE. Not a single trace of odor!!. The gag-worthy cat urine smell has left the building!!! Here I am a week later and the stink remains banished from my basement!!

Moral of the story: IT TAKES TIME, A LOT OF TIME, TO WORK!! Those little enzymes continue working long after applied. The smell may get WAY WORSE before it gets better!!

Thank you Nature's Miracle for yet another great product for the pet lover's of the world!!!

Highly recommend this cleaning solution! It smells great it's not over powering at all. And really does the job. The stains were so bad but they all came out! See results!

This stuff is phenomenal! A little background - I was working a 4 month old German Shepard urine stain that had been in one specific corner of the carpet (medium length.) I had my doubts about this product as I hit the entire carpet hard with "Bissell Odor eliminator" type carpet cleaner over the counter.

The smell persisted, I could smell it from almost every room and even as I went to bed at night.

Then I got Nature's Miracle, a nice giant half gallon since I didn't know how much I would need - and for a great price $10 you kidding me? When other enzymatic cleaners cost twice as much and aren't meant for a carpet shampooer?

The steps I took after much reading: First, I mixed a little bit of Nature's Miracle in with baking soda and vinegar and won ton drizzled using a kitchen cup over the affected area. I Then let it sit for a good 30 minutes as I prepared my carpet shampooer.

Step 2 I mixed Nature's Miracle (2 cap fulls from my normal bissell product container) into the steam cleaner's reservoir. Then I filled it with the coldest water I could get - as my particular carpet shampooer has a heating element in it -which I've read is absolutely the WORST to use when cleaning pet urine stains. Something about the heat only brings out more of the smell.

Step 3 I went over the affected area with the spray mist only, saturating the carpet even more. Mind you - at this point there was a lot of product in the carpet which I was ok with, as I was pretty sure the urine had made it all the way to the pad. At that point I let it sit in the carpet for another 20 minutes.

Step 4 It was time to actually steam clean. Starting slowly and methodically I hit every square inch of the affected area and then proceeded to shampoo the rest of my living room.

Step 5 (VERY IMPORTANT) after I had gotten as much of the moisture out as possible, I kept all furniture and other items off the carpet and threw open every window in the house as well as turned on the fan on the HVAC. I also placed a gyrating house fan as near to the area as I possibly could and let the WHOLE carpet dry out overnight.

In the morning, it was like I had brand new carpet again. And remember I did this for ODOR not because of stains - but all along the way I noticed Nature's Miracle was also doing a great job removing carpet blemishes and tiny stains.

In short, I will be buying this product again and again due to its effectiveness and cheap price. I finally have a living room I can guests enjoy again!

This is the BEST carpet shampoo I've ever used. I have a small Bissell cleaner, and I've tried every brand of shampoo around - the Bissell brand, and several other brands intended for use in "steam" cleaners (actually hot-water extraction cleaners). None of them has worked as well as Nature's Miracle. I decided to try it after I found an area behind the couch where my elderly cat had been going as she got less able to get into the litter box. In the past I have tried various deodorizers and stain removers on pet accidents, and none really did a good job.
First of course I vacuumed thoroughly. I sprayed the problem spots with the Nature's Miracle 3-in-1 Spray, plus pre-treated some food and coffee stains with the spray, and waited about 30 minutes. Then I mixed this shampoo in the cleaner's reservoir according to the lines on the reservoir. It's low-foaming, so it's easy to get the reservoir full. I started cleaning, and it was amazing. High-traffic areas that I had thought were dingy for good came clean! The stains I had pre-treated vanished without a trace. At first, I could still smell the urine, but as others have recommended, I let the enzymes do their job, and by the next day, the odor in the problem areas was gone. The carpet smells fresh, with no perfumey scent or industrial-smelling chemical odor - just smells fresh, like the room was aired out.
I will never waste time and money on any other carpet shampoo again. Why didn't I try this brand years ago? The 64-ounce bottle is more than enough to clean my living room, bedroom, and small office area, and at less than $8 for the bottle, it's a terrific bargain. It's half the price of the Bissell and Hoover brands, which I have tried and did not like at all.
Try this - give it time for the enzyme action, and you'll be impressed.

I like this carpet shampoo, and now realize that it has to fully dry to totally eliminate odor. It smells light and fresh while using to wash the carpet. I just have to be patient and let it dry completely to work effectively.

I have used Natures Miracle for many years. I own a rug doctor and use this in two ways. I make a concentrated spray bottle for stains and pretreat, then use the diluted version to clean the carpets. Has a fresh smell and takes almost anything out.

Works well if you follow instructions. I used this on a couch. I did not use any kind of cleaning machine. I waited for a semi breezy day. Saturated the stains ( old and new ) with this product. Used most the whole bottle. I set up a fan to blow air directly on the wet surface. You must let this product dry completely for it to work. Took from early A.M. to late P.M. to dry. I really saturated the stains. The smell is gone. No smell even on humid days. The product itself smells great. Clean smell. I did not care about a stain forming from the shampoo. I do not have expensive furniture and live with animals. Most of my furniture is covered with pretty sheets so the couch fabric never really is seen. If you care about this product staining you might have to take more precautions then i did. My animals have had no side effects from this product. Do not let pets near until completely dry.

I tried everything to get the smell out of my carpet, and this was the only thing that worked!! Worked so well, the cats don't even go to the bathroom on the floor anymore!! A must buy for cat owners with carpet!
